My new found hobby

So call me a Grandma but my new hobby is.....knitting! haha. One day I went into the salon and my boss was wearing a way cute scarf and she said she made so..so I was like well freak I want to make one. She said she learned from a book..but I can't read something and comprehend it very good so I just made her teach me. haha. I had to restart the stupid think like 47572 times! I almost quit but I really wanted a scarf so I didn't. And it makes the days go by faster when I'm at the salon.ha. Not to mention there are a ton of mistakes in it but that's ok..I like to think that makes it original. Anyway..I finally finished it today and I'm so proud of it. I was modeling it all afternoon in the salon. hah.

I hate taking pictures of myself..but I had to model it for everyone to see.

The finished product!

Hallelujah!! A new blog, new scarf, and new talent all in one week!!! Way cute scarf on a way cute girl. Love your shortie hair! Yes I am still partial to the long, but working on moving past that, someday with therapy maybe! Ha Ha!! I think a scarf in dark green would look great with my "retro" coat!! Us hicks need to look good even in the cold.

'Bout time we heard from you again! Isn't it funny that knitting was popular about 50 years ago, now it's back. Do we just go in circles? Or maybe we cast-off? I think that's a knitting term.

I am VERY impressed! Now when you get bored, you can just work on one for me now! Ok, so you really shouldn't, plus you are probably never bored. Bad idea! Anyway, looks very stylish. You will have to bring it to work and show it off to me!

Okay, got your comment on my blog. I was going to send you an email, but of course you aren't loaded onto my new computer, sooooo if you send me an email, then I can reply and put you in my address book. I know it is the hurley girly, but couldn't remember where or how to spell girly! We are really missing you for the holiday, need someone fun to share laughs with. Check out my blog for my cute designs, however, I am moving up in the world. Love ya, Vicki
